By continuously monitoring what energy is available, what the current electricity rate is and what the consumption profile of the company or fleet requires, an EMS always charges at the most favorable time.
This prevents peaks, reduces energy costs and makes optimal use of locally generated energy, such as from solar panels or a battery.
Charging sessions are automatically scheduled at times when energy rates are low, or when sustainable energy is available locally. This way you structurally reduce charging costs.

Smartbox is an innovative EMS with our own software for smart energy management. Smartbox is one platform in three versions; the number of connected energy assets and the connection determine which version fits. Smartbox Regular adds balancing markets (FCR, aFRR) via aggregators, up to approximately 50 assets, including wind and cooling.
Smartbox Pro offers a solution for large-scale consumption, industry, agriculture and multi-site with multiple components, such as solar panels, wind turbines, charging stations and batteries: 50+ assets, a customized control strategy and asset insight down to cell and string level.
