This way you always know how much is generated, consumed or stored and what control is taking place. The portal therefore forms the link between the technology of the Smartbox and the daily practice of energy companies, installers and end users.
Explanation
What is the Smartbox Portal?
The Smartbox Portal (my.smartboxpower.com) is the online dashboard that provides insight into all data from the Smartbox]. It shows in real time how energy is generated, stored and consumed: the energy flow between sun, generator, grid, charging station and battery, the EPEX day-ahead prices, the live power trend, statistics and a reporting export with quarter-hour data. You have the same data at hand on the go in the Smartbox app for iOS and Android.
With Smartbox Regular and Pro the telemetry is real time with a resolution of 1 second; Smartbox Lite works with 1-minute data. Users track performance and energy flows in a clear manner. This makes the portal the central place for monitoring and reporting, and helps to maximize the value of energy assets.

01API connection with own systems
Instead of a separate dashboard, energy companies work via an API. All relevant data from the Smartbox is forwarded directly to your own systems, so that you decide how you present this information to your customers.
02Earnings forecasts
Energy companies use their own algorithms to calculate profit forecasts. These controls are visible in real time in the portal, so that customers have direct insight into the choices made and the returns achieved.
03Overview per hour and day
The results are displayed at day and hour level. This way you can see when installations were active and which controls took place.
04Insight into results afterwards
Because energy rates vary constantly and control state 2 can be declared, the final results are often only visible afterwards. The portal makes this process transparent.
05Registration of exceptional situations
In exceptional cases, a grid operator can temporarily shut down a producer, for example to prevent a blackout. The portal also registers these types of situations.

Smartbox Regular and Pro add proactive monitoring: Smartbox Power monitors location and assets 24/7, resolves faults remotely and escalates via email. You don't have to do anything.
03Reports and data
Monthly reports with quarter-hourly data make it easy to analyze performance. With these insights you can advise customers better and increase the efficiency of their systems.

The Smartbox Portal is designed to give end users - customers of energy companies and installers - insight into their energy use and yield.
We have designed the portal to be user-friendly, so that it is also accessible to customers with little technical knowledge.
01Real-time dashboard
Customers see live data about power, generation, self-consumption, the current EPEX price and energy flows to and from the grid, in the portal and in the Smartbox app. This provides direct insight into the performance of their installation.
02Monthly reports
A report is available every month with data per quarter of an hour. This gives customers a clear overview of trends and results over a longer period.
03Historical data and trends

If certain assets are not present, those parts will not be displayed. This way the portal always remains clear and customized.
03Does the Smartbox Portal offer reports that can be shared with customers?
Yes. Every month a report is drawn up with data per quarter. This report provides a complete overview of yield, consumption, storage and grid supply, so customers can easily recognize trends and compare results.
04Can energy companies integrate the portal into their own systems?
Yes. Energy companies do not use a separate portal, but gain access to all data via an API. In this way, they integrate the information into their own systems and present it in the way that best suits their services.
05How exactly does the connection with radiation meters and weather stations work and how reliable are the predictions?
The data from radiation meters and weather stations are forwarded to the Smartbox. On this basis, energy companies determine their control signals and provide instructions for control.
The reliability of the predictions is related to the quality of the measurement data and the energy company's algorithms.
