Explanation
An energy management system for wind turbines is the link that ensures that generated wind energy is not only available, but also used smartly. While a wind turbine simply produces as soon as there is wind, an EMS determines when that energy produces the most: for consumption, storage or return.
A good EMS continuously monitors the relationship between generation, consumption and grid load. It controls batteries, inverters and other energy assets based on real-time data.
The system thus prevents unnecessary peaks, limits feed-in losses and responds to current market prices.
At times of overproduction or low grid demand, energy prices can become negative. An EMS prevents your customers from having to return wind energy for a fee by automatically diverting it to storage or local consumption.

Regular (up to approx. 50 assets) suits small and large consumers and SMEs; Pro (50+ assets) is available for large-scale consumption, industry, agriculture and multi-site, with a customized management strategy and asset insight down to cell and string level.
